The reason this company exists
Meet Your Instructor
I’m Christopher Mitchell, an authorized American Red Cross Instructor and the founder of Fighting Chance CPR. My mission is simple: to make life saving education convenient, engaging, and accessible to as many people as possible.
This mission is deeply personal to me. I’m a cardiac arrest survivor. Several years ago, I experienced a horrific accident that left me with 23 broken bones, both lungs collapsed, and ultimately, cardiac arrest. In those critical moments, a few incredible bystanders stepped up, performed immediate CPR, and gave me a fighting chance.
Because they were willing to act, I was given something I’ll never take for granted, a second chance at life and more time with my family.
That experience changed the way I look at CPR forever. I know firsthand that you don’t have to be a doctor, nurse, or first responder to make a difference. Sometimes, an ordinary person with the right knowledge and the courage to act can be the reason someone gets another chance.
That’s why I’m so passionate about what I teach.
Through Fighting Chance CPR’s mobile training solutions, I bring American Red Cross CPR and First Aid courses directly to individuals, community groups, and workplaces. I keep training hands-on, engaging, and focused on building real confidence — not sitting through hours of boring lectures.
I take care of the equipment and logistics so you can focus on learning the skills that matter most when seconds count.
Because when an emergency happens, the minutes before help arrives belong to you.
Learn CPR. Be ready to act. Help give someone a fighting chance.
