Operation Victory is Damascus’s dedicated program for incarcerated veterans, providing support before and after release as they prepare to return to their families, communities, and society.<\/p>

The program focuses on helping veterans develop the skills and mindset needed for a successful transition from the institutional environment. Through trauma informed programming, evidence based CBT, character development, prosocial skill development, and volunteer based mentorship, Operation Victory supports veterans throughout their reentry journey.<\/p>

Post release mentorship is an important part of the program, helping veterans continue receiving encouragement, accountability, and connection after they leave prison.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Damascus Reentry provides pre and post release services designed to help incarcerated individuals prepare for a successful transition from an institutional setting back into family and social life.<\/p>

The Legacy Project focuses on leadership and character development within the prison environment, creating opportunities for positive change among incarcerated individuals and the broader prison community.<\/p>

Through leadership focused programming and the development of prosocial and character based skills, the Legacy Project supports healthier behaviors, stronger decision making, and a culture that encourages personal responsibility.<\/p>

Post Release Mentoring extends the Damascus mission beyond the prison gates. Volunteer mentors continue walking alongside returning citizens as they navigate the challenges of rebuilding their lives after incarceration.<\/p>

The transition back into society can involve family relationships, employment, social skills, addiction and recovery, and adjusting to life outside the institutional environment. Consistent mentorship provides encouragement, accountability, and a positive relationship during this important transition.<\/p>

Volunteer mentoring is one of the ways Damascus creates continuity between preparation inside prison and life after release.
